When you place an order with us, one of the most common questions is about which carrier will deliver your package and how quickly it will arrive. We want to be as transparent as possible about how shipping works behind the scenes so you know what to expect.
Shipping Carriers We Use
We currently offer shipping through both UPS and USPS, with multiple service levels available directly at checkout. These can range from:
-
Ground shipping options
-
Expedited services
-
Next-day delivery options
The available services and estimated delivery dates will appear on the checkout page when placing your order.
Why the Checkout Page Shows USPS Most Often
Shopify automatically defaults to the lowest-cost shipping option at checkout. In many cases, that ends up being USPS Ground Advantage, which is why you’ll frequently see USPS listed as the carrier during checkout.
However, the carrier shown at checkout does not guarantee that carrier will ultimately be used for your shipment.
How We Choose the Best Carrier for Your Order
Our goal is simple: get your order to you as quickly and reliably as possible.
When preparing orders for shipment, we often compare both USPS and UPS options. If UPS offers a more reliable timeline or similar cost, we may choose UPS Ground instead—even if checkout originally displayed USPS Ground Advantage.
In some cases, UPS Ground can actually arrive sooner than USPS Ground Advantage, depending on the destination.
Why We Sometimes Switch Carriers
There are several factors we consider when deciding which carrier to use for your package:
-
Current USPS delays or service disruptions
-
Whether UPS is scheduled for pickup that day
-
Transit time comparisons between carriers
-
Cost differences between the two options
-
Which carrier is more likely to deliver on the estimated day shown at checkout
The Challenge with Shipping Estimates
Shipping carriers don’t always provide perfectly aligned information between systems. Occasionally we see different transit times on our end than what appears at checkout.
It can also be difficult to know ahead of time which addresses receive Saturday delivery, which sometimes affects estimated timelines.
Because of this, we make the best shipping decision possible for each individual order to keep delivery as fast and reliable as we can.
Our Promise
While the carrier listed at checkout may vary from the one ultimately used, our priority remains the same:
Getting your order delivered on time—or even earlier when possible.
We closely monitor our shipping performance and are proud to maintain a strong on-time delivery rate behind the scenes.
Thank you for supporting our small business and trusting us with your orders!
